The Assets module in CUBE allows teams to manage and track physical or logical assets within a project. Assets are created and linked to Spaces, assigned types, and can be enriched with custom data through instance templates. The module supports structured asset registers, making it easy to track asset status, properties, and associated documentation across a project lifecycle.
Before creating assets, your administrator must configure Asset Types in Project Settings. Each Asset Type defines what category of asset it represents (for example: HVAC Unit, Electrical Panel, Door, Pump). You can configure as many Asset Types as needed.
These types will be available as a selection when creating an Asset in the Project.
+ Create or + New Asset.Instance templates let you attach structured custom fields to an asset, capturing additional metadata specific to your project's needs (for example: manufacturer, installation date, warranty expiry, maintenance schedule).
