CUBE gives you the feature to add quantities to the takeoffs in the BOQ from your drawings and models directly. To do so, the file should be associated with the respective estimate for quantity calculations.
<aside> ℹ️ Files can only be associated from the space in which the estimate is created. Both internal and external documents from that space can be associated to an estimate.

This article will take you through a step-by-step guide on how to associate the required drawings or 3D models to your estimate.
Step 1 - Inside your project, open the estimate in which the file is to be associated
Step 2 - Once inside the estimate, Click on ‘Files’ and then on ‘Add new File’.
Step 3 - Select the files to be associated. You can either attach one single file or multiple files at the same time.
Once you’ve selected the file(s), Click on ‘Add to list’.
Step 4 - Click on ‘Attach Selected’ and the files will be associated with the estimate.
The files are now associated with the estimate and can be viewed in the ‘Files’ tab in your estimate
