Introduction to Custom Modules

Custom Modules in CUBE is a powerful no-code add-on that empowers users to create their own specialized modules tailored to specific business needs. Unlike standard form modules, Custom Modules provide greater flexibility and independence in functionality.

Custom Modules help organizations extend CUBE's capabilities while maintaining a clean, organized interface. Follow the instructions below to create your first custom module.

Instructions

To create a custom module follow these steps:

• Go to Portal Settings >Configuration > Modules

• Under Modules, click on New Module

• A New Custom Module pop-up will appear which contains details such as

  • Name
  • Description
  • Icons

  All fields are mandatory, after filling in all fields, the Save button will activate.

• Once clicked on the Save button, a confirmation toast will appear on the bottom right part of the screen

• This newly created custom module can be accessed from the Project Dashboard itself, from the left sidebar. These modules are similar to the Forms module but more distinct for easy access and organized workflow.
