The Estimation & Costs module in CUBE provides functionalities to extract quantities from 2D drawings and 3D models directly or by manually adding quantities to what is called the BOQ (Bill of Quantities).

CUBE’s Estimation module has the following functionalities, but are not limited to;

• 2D & 3D Quantity Takeoff and create a detailed BOQ.
• Take measurements from a combination of drawings and models and create a measurement sheet for the same.
• Easily organize measurements by assigning them to one or multiple Takeoffs
• Create a nested hierarchy of Items inside the BOQ and assign quantities to them.
• Manage Cost Databases, Purchase Units, Measurement Units, Currencies, and a variety of other settings.

You can use 2D CAD Drawings or 3D BIM Model files to create measurements and takeoffs, which in turn can be used to prepare BOQs. High-level BOQs can also be prepared without the need for any files as well.
