Mailbox on CUBE can be of great use for all the users of a project. It serves almost similar function as transmittals but with minor differences. It allows the users to communicate with people on the platform irrespective of the projects that they’re part of. You can also communicate with people that are not on CUBE provided some minor changes are made to the settings. The users also get the option to either acknowledge or reply to the mail that has been sent to them. Also, you can decide who gets to see the mails that are being sent and received. You can also receive mails from outside of CUBE, after changing the appropriate settings.

Purpose of a Mailbox

  2. Version Control: It helps maintain version control by tracking all revisions and updates to BIM models and documents.
  3. Audit Trail: Provides an audit trail of all exchanges, which is crucial for project management, accountability, and compliance.
  4. Collaboration: Facilitates collaboration by making it easier for all project stakeholders to access, review, and comment on shared documents and models.
  5. Data Management: Ensures that all project data is stored in a structured manner, making it easier to retrieve and manage information throughout the project lifecycle.
