V3.3: Clearer Workflows Across Core Modules

Dec 2025 (V3.3) is a quality-of-life focused release that improves clarity, consistency, and navigation across CUBE’s core workflows. It adds better visibility into permissions and item usage, streamlines estimate formatting with sensible defaults, upgrades BIM/CAD viewing and search, and refreshes parts of the Portal experience. It also strengthens onboarding for mobile users and introduces a clearer seat-based access model.

Spaces: new access tooltips on files and folders to clearly explain permissions.
Estimates: default rounding is now applied automatically (2 decimals for quantities/measurements, 0 for rates/amounts).
Contracts: item usage breakdown via an info icon shows where contract items are used and how much is consumed.
BIM / Design Viewer: universal object tree with visible file names, metadata-based file search, and an improved sheets modal for CAD files.
Portal / Settings: new Partner role (equivalent to Super Admin) to simplify partner management.
General: “Tasks” renamed to Activities, plus UI updates for Portal Users and Portal Projects.
Authentication: mobile-browser onboarding improvements and introduction of Seats to define module access and collaboration limits.

V3.3.1: Workflow Updates Across Spaces, Schedules, and BIM

Jan 2026 (V3.3.1) builds on recent platform improvements with a set of workflow upgrades across Spaces, scheduling, contracts, assets, and BIM/CAD. The release focuses on making setup and ongoing project tracking easier, improving the flexibility of schedule management and simulations, and expanding how teams can organize, navigate, and export project data.

Spaces: You can now upload files while creating containers during Excel import. File names and metadata are validated automatically, with compliant files placed correctly and non-compliant files routed to Escrow for cleanup.
Schedules: Progress updates are now safer and more flexible:
- Re-import schedules to update only Start/End and Actual Start/End fields without breaking dependencies, resources, or 4D simulation linkages.
- Choose a custom “data date” (not only today) to support scenario planning and more accurate tracking.
- Link queries directly to resources, allowing resources to connect to multiple selection sets for more dynamic scheduling and simulations.
Contracts: The column chooser now shows full BOQ budget context, including Budgeted Quantity and Amount, making it easier to pick the right columns without confusion.
Assets: Asset management becomes more configurable and import-friendly:
- Project admins can define and manage asset types per project (rename, enable, disable).
- Excel import now supports populating custom fields for assets via template-based column mapping.
BIM / Databank: Databank is more accessible and shareable:
- Use Databank even outside an Estimate, with filtering, grouping, and parameter viewing available anytime.
- Export Databank content and query results to CSV.
- URL metadata now displays as clickable link text for faster navigation.
CAD & Dashboards: Navigation and usability improvements:
- New DWG layer controls let you isolate, focus, or hide layers to work faster in complex drawings.
- Dashboards now show project-level custom fields in an expandable section, with hyperlinks rendered as quick-access buttons.
- CAD viewer defaults and layout are updated (pan on left-click, cleaner UI) for a smoother viewing experience.
