Overview

The Progress Updates module in CUBE provides a structured way for site teams to document and submit work completion throughout the construction lifecycle. Using customisable form templates and configurable approval workflows, teams capture what was done, when, by how much — and route that information through the right reviewers before it feeds downstream into inspections and billing.

Progress Updates sit at the centre of CUBE's quality and financial workflow. Once a Progress Update is approved, it can trigger an Inspection for quality verification, and the quantities and activity data it contains flow directly into the Contract's Timeline and Budget tabs.

Core Features

• Unique Form Identification — Every progress update form is assigned a unique number for tracking and reference
• Multi-level Approval — Forms progress through configurable approval levels, with each section routed to designated approvers
• Status Management — Forms can be rejected at any approval level; once rejected they cannot be resubmitted but can be approved subsequently
• Deadline Management — Progress updates are created with specific deadlines to ensure timely documentation
• Assignment Flexibility — Forms can be assigned to specific users or teams based on project requirements
• Activity & Quantity Tracking — The form can capture Actual Start, Actual End, Progress %, Remaining Duration, and quantity consumed per activity or task
• Downstream Integration — Approved progress feeds into the Contract Timeline tab, Budget tab, and can trigger Inspections or Bills
