Overview

The Update Schedule option allows you to update specific timeline and progress-related fields in an existing schedule without disturbing its structure, dependencies, resources, or 4D linkages.

This is useful when your schedule is maintained in an external planning tool (such as Primavera or MS Project), and you want to periodically sync updated dates or progress back into CUBE safely and predictably.

What Gets Updated

For activities that already exist in the schedule (matched by Activity ID), the system updates only the following fields:

• Start Date
• End Date
• Duration
• Actual Start Date
• Actual End Date
• Progress Percentage

No other data is touched.

What Does Not Get Updated

The re-import will not modify any of the following:

• Dependencies
• Resources linked to activities
• Activity hierarchy or structure
