Overview

Schedules is CUBE's project timeline management module. It lets you build, import, and maintain a full project programme directly within your project — with a Gantt chart, activity-level tracking, dependency logic, resource assignment, and 4D simulation linkage all in one place.

You can create a schedule from scratch by adding activities manually, or import an existing programme from Microsoft Project (.msp) or Primavera P6 (.xer). Once a schedule is in CUBE, you can update it periodically from your planning tool without disturbing your 4D setup or dependencies.

What You Can Do in Schedules

• Create and manage multiple schedules per project, each linked to a specific Space
• Import schedules from MSP and Primavera P6, including activities, durations, dates, dependencies, remaining duration, total slack, and critical path
• View and edit all activities in the Gantt tab, with a live Gantt chart alongside the activity list
• Add predecessor/successor dependencies between activities and recalculate the programme with Schedule Now
• Create and assign Resources (Human, Machine & Equipment, Material) to activities
• Re-import an updated schedule file to sync dates and progress without overwriting your dependencies or 4D mappings
• Set a Custom Data Date to run scheduling calculations against a specific reference date rather than today

Prerequisites

• You are a member of the project with access to the Schedules module
• To import from MSP or P6, you need a valid .msp or .xer file exported from your planning tool

Getting Started

Navigate to your project and click Schedules in the left sidebar. The Schedules list shows all schedules created in the project, with columns for ID, Title, Description, Space, Overall Start Date, Overall End Date, Duration, Created On, and Created By.

Click + Create to create a new schedule, or use New > Import Schedule to bring in an existing programme.
